Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and store dishes, pots, and pans in a clean and organized manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all dishwashing areas, including the dishroom and surrounding areas
  • Sweep the kitchen floor after each meal to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Sweep and spot mop the dining room floor to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere
  • Empty trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner
  • Mop the kitchen floor after the last meal of the day to ensure a clean and sanitized environment
  • Prepare clean-up pans, cleaning cloths, and spatulas for each table to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
