Medical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse at Longview Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. You will also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
- Perform patient tests and administer medications
- Teach patients and families about self-care skills and medication management
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program and be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas or have a compact state license. You must also have approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
