Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at St. Charles Health System. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional ultrasound examinations in accordance with department policies, procedures, and protocols.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound examinations
• Follow Health and Safety Policies and Procedures of quality patient care
• Assist in record maintenance and statistics as requested
• Participate in student training program as requested
• Assist with special projects as requested

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate eligible and Registry eligible of an accredited Ultrasound training program
• Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registry or Registry eligible (OB/GYN, Abdominal and Physics)
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA BLS/CPR)

• Additional ARDMS registries
• Support RDMS, SDMS, and local affiliations
• One (1) year full-time experience as a registered Ultrasound Technologist

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
