Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Door Installation Specialist to join our team at Adamo Security. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and functionality of our clients' door systems through meticulous installation and maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain door hardware systems, including exit, entry, and fire door sets.
  • Service and repair locks and security systems of all types.
  • Replace or service worn components of door security systems, such as locks, tumblers, springs, and other critical parts.
  • Carry and stage materials at clients' locations.
  • Guide, coordinate, and oversee fellow installers when applicable.
  • Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
  • Educate customers on the features and functionality of installed products.
  • Assist with parts, shipping, receiving, and inventory as needed.
  • Aid in the removal and installation of materials on projects.
Requirements
  • Capability of lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant computer software applicable to security, including networking and hacking skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math problems.
  • Safe and efficient use of necessary tools.
  • Provide practical advice and make sound decisions when needed.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow maintenance procedures for various door locksets.
  • Proficiency in utilizing building security lock systems and their procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively relay information.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot door lock-related issues.
  • Ability to coach individuals on the use and maintenance of door locks.
  • Excellent customer service skills to serve clients professionally.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and establish a good reputation in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of wall framing (steel stud, wood stud) and structural expertise.
  • Basic finishing skills such as drywall installation, patching, taping, and painting with attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the year.
  • Clean driving and criminal record.
  • Must be a legal citizen of the United States.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet pre-employment requirements.
  • Ability to pass background checks for military base access.
