Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with addiction treatment teams to ensure effective patient care.
  • Provide ongoing management, education, and support of patients in all phases of treatment, including medication management and urine toxicology screens.
  • Assess and monitor patients in withdrawal management, medication induction, stabilization, and maintenance phases of treatment.
Requirements

This position requires a licensed registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in related specialty areas or people who use drugs within communities of color in Boston. Knowledge of community and health resources, particularly addiction-related support, is essential. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with providers and team members from various settings are also necessary.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address patient needs. Experience with harm reduction methods for people who are using drugs is preferred, as well as knowledge of naloxone and other harm reduction supplies.

Benefits

Competitive hourly rate starting at $35.22 per hour with opportunities for yearly increases. Additional compensation of $7,500 added to your base hiring rate for demonstrated bilingual proficiency.
