Role Summary:
This role encompasses the leadership and management of a team dedicated to quality assurance and manufacturing engineering efforts. The primary focus is on achieving excellence in product quality, reliability, and the establishment of new product processes, alongside facilitating initial customer installations and setups.

Additionally, this position is tasked with ensuring the predictability, repeatability, and sustainability of manufacturing operations. It includes steering initiatives for the selection and enhancement of document control tools.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for product non-conformance issues across OEM, field, and factory settings.


2. Provide expertise in statistical analysis and Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring their application throughout the organization.


3. Develop and present management reports detailing the cost of quality across various programs and functions, utilizing data and reporting tools effectively.


4. Formulate, assess, and refine procedures and methods to enhance operational effectiveness and drive process improvements.


5. Analyze compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory specifications for products and processes.


6. Spearhead initiatives to achieve and maintain global regulatory and quality standards certifications.


7. Represent the quality and manufacturing division in various committees and working groups.


8. Collaborate with R&D engineering to evaluate the quality and reliability of new product designs.


9. Assess specifications from suppliers and customers to determine necessary planning and procedural requirements for ensuring product quality and manufacturability.


10. Direct efforts to resolve quality and manufacturing process challenges, minimizing impacts on schedules and ensuring compliance with specifications.


11. Maintain an audit program to verify that products and systems conform to established quality and system requirements.


12. Oversee Material Review activities for related products.


13. Evaluate suppliers and assist them in implementing quality improvement strategies.


14. Develop policies that support quality and manufacturing objectives.


Required Skills:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of fifteen years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing sector. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems, such as ISO9001.
• Proven track record in managing Quality and Manufacturing Engineers.
• Experience overseeing supply chain quality for components and EMS providers.
• Knowledge of Product Life Cycle (PLC), Product Data Management (PDM) processes, and Document Control Principles.
• Specific experience in manufacturing PCBs, PCBA, cables, metal components, fiber optics, and general electro-mechanical processes.
