About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in Marlborough, MA. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and EMC Documentation: Compile and maintain technical files, specifications, test plans, data, reports, drawings, and schematics for our products.
  • Compliance Expertise: Stay up-to-date on North American (UL, CSA) and European (CE, IEC, EN) safety and EMC requirements, ensuring our products comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Design Verification Testing: Support design verification testing and safety agency testing, including software, hardware, and electromagnetic compatibility evaluations.
  • Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessments, developing hazard analyses and FMEA's to mitigate safety and compliance-related risks.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate on new product development and changes to existing devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Certification Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to secure and maintain national and international safety and EMC certifications (UL, cUL, CE) for new and existing products.
  • Component Selection: Specify or assist in selecting new and alternate components, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • System Test Apparatus: Specify system test apparatus and equipment for pre-compliance evaluations.
  • Reliability Assessment: Participate in assessing the reliability of components, equipment, and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in compliance engineering, obtaining various safety certifications such as UL, TUV, CE, is preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
