Job Summary:The Occupational Therapist 1 will provide high-quality patient care, adhering to department policies and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with patients, families, and medical staff, and demonstrate a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to meet patients' needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to promote patients' functional independence and overall well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working with patients with various diagnoses and conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
