Job Summary:
Lignetics Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating machinery, packaging products, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery in multiple production departments to produce high-quality products.
- Follow established safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Move and wrap completed products, and perform other tasks as assigned.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the Shift Lead.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with industrial machinery and equipment is preferred.
- Prior forklift and production line experience is also preferred.
- Good eye, hand, and foot coordination are required.
- Ability to pass the company's forklift training program.
- Required to read and interpret scales.
- Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and other equipment.
- Requires basic math calculations skills.
