We are seeking a skilled Imaging Registered Nurse to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of imaging services.
Responsibilities- Perform nursing functions for patients in the radiology department, including assessments, plan of care development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with current clinical nursing practice.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic and interventional studies.
- Perform technical services in a cross-functional mode to comprehensively serve patient needs.
- 1-3 years of nursing experience required; 2 years of critical care or imaging experience preferred.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and PALS certifications preferred.
