We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team at 99 Ranch Market. As a key member of our visual merchandising department, you will be responsible for creating and implementing planograms that optimize product placement on store shelves.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $48,000 - $52,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The hourly rate is between $23 and $25, considering the job requirements and location in Buena Park, CA.

Job Description:

  • Planogram Creation: Design and implement planograms that meet company standards, ensuring products are displayed attractively, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Shelf Space Analysis: Analyze available shelf space and recommend adjustments to maximize sales and visual appeal, taking into consideration product sizes and sales data.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize sales and inventory data to make informed decisions about planogram adjustments, product assortment, and shelving strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Store Implementation: Ensure planograms are implemented correctly in stores, working with store personnel to maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and store operations, to align planograms with marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize planogram software and tools to create, update, and maintain plangrams efficiently.
  • Staff Training: Train store staff on planogram implementation and maintenance procedures.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to planogram execution, such as out-of-stock products or display discrepancies.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in planogram design and visual merchandising to continually improve planogram effectiveness.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure planograms adhere to company policies, pricing strategies, and product placement guidelines.
  • Performance Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on planogram performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Retail Merchandising Principles: Previous exposure to retail merchandising principles.
  • Self-Organization: Self-organized, detail-oriented, and good work habits.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and listening.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows system, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Software Experience: Basic knowledge of SAP, JDA, and planogram software experience (intermediate is a plus).
  • Data Organization: Data organize and sorting skills.
  • Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
