Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Criminal Investigator to join our team at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. As a key member of our Protective Services unit, you will be responsible for providing executive protection services to our clients, including the U.S. Trade Representative and other high-ranking officials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and executive protection services to clients, including escorting them to and from events, meetings, and other engagements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and threat evaluations to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices in executive protection.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans to ensure the safety and security of clients and their families.
  • Conduct investigations and gather intelligence to identify and disrupt potential security threats.
  • Provide training and guidance to other Protective Services team members on executive protection protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in executive protection or a related field.
  • Proven track record of providing high-level security services to executives, dignitaries, or other high-risk individuals.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including threat assessment and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances. The successful candidate will be required to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. The position also requires the ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
