Job Overview

Ferguson Construction Company (FCC) is a well-established General Contractor with over a century of experience in the construction industry. We specialize in a diverse range of sectors including heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects. Our in-house design team complements our construction capabilities, allowing us to self-perform various trades such as concrete, masonry, steel erection, general carpentry, and sheet metal roofing and siding.

Role Responsibilities

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing project costs and schedules while collaborating closely with the project superintendent and FCC's safety and quality teams.

Key Qualifications
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project
  • Experienced with Procore construction management software
  • Strong foundation in architectural and civil engineering, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction sector
Essential Duties
  • Ensure adherence to all FCC standard operating procedures
  • Manage projects effectively to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Engage daily with project superintendent and subcontractors for seamless coordination
  • Plan for long-term procurement of essential materials in line with project schedules
  • Oversee and review billing processes from subcontractors and vendors, generating monthly invoices for clients
  • Manage project equipment and manpower requirements
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
