Job Summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonary Function Laboratory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing pulmonary diagnostic procedures and providing respiratory care services to patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory care services to patients in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Perform pulmonary diagnostic procedures, including lung function testing and cardio-pulmonary stress testing
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • CPR certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (or hold a temporary permit) by the PA State Board of Medicine
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Registry through NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
