Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. as a full-time night shift employee.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with pulmonary disorders and conditions. This includes performing all respiratory care modalities, cardiopulmonary patient assessments, and evaluations for patients on therapist-driven protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform cardiopulmonary patient assessments and evaluations for patients on the therapist-driven protocols.
- Perform therapeutic respiratory care modalities.
- Provide critical care and ventilator management.
- Respond to all designated medical emergency codes.
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests.
- Document all patient care in the electronic medical record.
- Provide support to procedural areas as needed.
- Assist with collection of quality improvement data.
- Perform and analyze arterial blood gases.
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved School for Respiratory Therapy.
- Associate degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent required.
- Previous respiratory therapist experience highly desired.
- Must have a valid license to practice Respiratory Care in the State of Ohio.
- Annual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification obtained within six months of employment.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be required to work a night shift schedule.
