Howmet Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our equipment and facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance leadership, with experience in supervising a team of technicians and coordinating maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate their activities to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company quality standards.
- Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments and teams to ensure that maintenance activities are coordinated and that all necessary information is shared.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a maintenance or operations environment.
- Maintenance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and practices, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
Preferred Requirements:
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance or operations role.
- Blueprints Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- TPM Experience: Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and practices.
