Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Lead Cashier to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our front-end operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively approach customers to assist them in locating products and answer any questions they may have
  • Promptly respond to assist cashiers to meet customer needs quickly and efficiently
  • Monitor customer flow and traffic patterns throughout the store, managing the right number of open lanes and run registers as necessary to reduce customer wait time
