Job Summary:
Fusion Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Educator to join our team in the ambulatory sector. As a Social Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in living independently and promoting self-determination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to individuals with disabilities in daily life, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Collaborate with legal guardians, family members, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress and support plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Social Pedagogy or a related field.
- Proven experience working with adults with disabilities, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
