X-Ray Tech Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray tech to join our team at a hospital in Tulsa, OK. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiographs with minimal repeats while applying radiation and physical safety measures.
  • Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
  • Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers.
  • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.

Requirements:

  • New graduates or 1+ year of X-Ray Tech experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT (If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment).
  • Basic Life Support certification.
