Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical assistance.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
