Job Overview

The Finance Director at TerraSource Global will be responsible for overseeing the operational finance activities of the Division, including financial planning and policies, accounting practices, cost accounting, financial forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly financial close process from pre-close activities to financial statement issuance ensuring compliance with prescribed closing and reporting schedules while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Analyze monthly Percentage of Completion calculations, all cost variances, and inventory accounts with commentary on results.
  • Analyze and compare Overhead and Administrative costs to budget, forecast, and prior year.

This role requires a minimum of 10-15 years of accounting and/or finance experience, with 5-7+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a low volume high mix product portfolio environment. Experience using an ERP system, specifically JDE, is strongly preferred.
