Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Florida Medical Clinic. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with procedures, including cold biopsies, hot biopsies, polypectomies, tattooing, dilations, and more.
  • Anticipate and prepare necessary supplies and instruments for procedures.
  • Ensure the proper disinfection and maintenance of endoscopic equipment.
  • Collaborate with RNs and CRNAs to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Enter patient demographic information, room personnel, and scope numbers into the clinical documentation system.
  • Participate in the Time Out process to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Understanding of aseptic technique principles.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Current BLS certification.
