We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Imaging Tech Assistant to join our team at Beacon Health System. As an Imaging Tech Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our diagnostic imaging team by assisting technologists with procedures, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a smooth operation of the radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist technologists with procedures by managing incoming orders, entering patient demographics, and completing necessary paperwork.
- Participate in obtaining patient imaging studies and perform daily warm-up procedures on equipment.
- Transport patients as needed and assist with maintaining supplies and linens.
- Perform other functions to maintain personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current students enrolled in a school of radiology program preferred.
- Ability to follow department policies and procedures.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with physicians and staff.
- Ability to use basic office equipment and maintain a professional, caring, and respectful demeanor.
Works in a radiological environment with possible exposure to radiation. Requires physical ability and stamina to perform essential functions of the position.
