Job Summary

As an Imaging Tech Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our diagnostic imaging team by assisting technologists with procedures, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a smooth operation of the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technologists with procedures by managing incoming orders, entering patient demographics, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in obtaining patient imaging studies and perform daily warm-up procedures on equipment.
  • Transport patients as needed and assist with maintaining supplies and linens.
  • Perform other functions to maintain personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Current students enrolled in a school of radiology program preferred.
  • Ability to follow department policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with physicians and staff.
  • Ability to use basic office equipment and maintain a professional, caring, and respectful demeanor.
Working Conditions

Works in a radiological environment with possible exposure to radiation. Requires physical ability and stamina to perform essential functions of the position.
