Position Summary:
We are currently seeking dedicated Scaffold Helpers for full-time positions. Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Scaffold Helper, your primary duties will include assisting lead builders and carpenters. Responsibilities encompass:
- Transporting materials in a systematic manner.
- Organizing and stacking scaffolding components.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the work environment.
- Supporting the scaffolding crew in various tasks.
Please note that this role does not involve erecting, dismantling, or modifying scaffolding.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience with a scaffolding team.
- Ability to climb scaffolds and work at heights, adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience in handling scaffold components and basic construction materials.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery and tools.
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Employment Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience in physically demanding roles, including confined spaces and heights.
- Forklift certification is advantageous; additional training will be provided post-hire.
- All candidates must undergo drug testing and verification of employment eligibility.
- A background check will be conducted.
- NCCER certification is a plus.
- Possession of a current TWIC badge is beneficial.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
Work Schedule:
While overtime is not guaranteed, certain projects may require additional hours beyond the standard workweek, including weekends or night shifts. Punctuality and attendance on assigned shifts are expected.
