Job Summary:

Lampire Biological Laboratories is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to manage projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Initiation: Ensure all necessary project initiation forms, work orders, and paperwork are complete and accurate.
  • Project Tracking: Initiate and track projects in ACT, working closely with project schedulers, animal technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure all project details are understood and executed correctly.
  • Logistical Support: Serve as a logistical liaison for all project activities, coordinating with clients, project schedulers, and Lampire personnel to ensure timely project completion.
  • Project Monitoring: Regularly review active projects to ensure they are on schedule and have sufficient resources to continue.
  • Project Closure: Ensure proper and complete closure of projects once they are complete, including updating training records and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.

Requirements:

  • Education: A. or B.S. degree in a related field, with three years or more of related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Conditions inside the lab are generally quiet, with occasional mid-level noise from equipment.
