Special Education Facilitating Teacher

Maury County Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Special Education Facilitating Teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement behavior-related services and supports for students with disabilities.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
- Provide training and support to school staff on implementation fidelity and de-escalation techniques.
- Assist in recommending appropriate placements for students with severe behaviors.
- Develop and provide professional development for building-level staff in related fields.
- Address parent, student, teacher, and administrator questions and attend IEP meetings as needed.
Requirements:
- Current Tennessee teacher's license with appropriate endorsements.
- Valid driver's license.
- 5-7 years of work-related experience.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
