Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medical evaluations of potential donors for automated plasmapheresis procedures
  • Determine donor suitability in consultation with a donor center physician
  • Provide limited emergency care, including medication administration
  • Conduct evaluations to ensure compliance with plasma donation criteria
  • Maintain communication logs regarding donor suitability
  • Review blood tests to determine continued donor suitability
  • Counsel donors with abnormal test results

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a recognized healthcare educational program
  • Current licensure as an EMT
  • Current certification in CPR
  • Ability to educate donors and staff on plasma donation
  • High degree of organization, teamwork, and flexibility
  • Basic computer proficiency
