Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses and physicians in providing patient care, including data collection and implementation of care plans.
  • Organize and prioritize patient care activities to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs, as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist in developing and implementing patient education plans to promote health and wellness.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining patient records and supplies.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant Training and current Certification through a recognized national professional association.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending, and stooping. The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds is also required. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
