About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services practice in a hybrid capacity through our Boca Raton office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients, including trust, personal, partnership, and S Corp tax returns, as well as amended tax returns and tax notices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare trust, personal, partnership, and S Corp tax returns, as well as amended tax returns and tax notices.
  • Respond to tax notices and draft related correspondence.
  • Work on client matters while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Train and supervise entry-level associates.
  • Establish proficiency in tax research and develop quality client relationships.
  • Develop a professional relationship with clients, demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
  • Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
Requirements
  • Education: BS/BA accounting; CPA required.
  • Minimum 8+ years tax & accounting experience in public accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Computer expertise, including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as audit software, ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagement experience a plus.
  • Solid organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
