Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at ECU Health Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic patient care services using CT and related diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CT technology and procedures through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current ARRT (CT) registry or registry eligible with the ability to pass the CT registry test within 18 months of hire
  • 0 years of experience as a CT technologist; prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts and 6 weekend days per 6-week schedule. Rotating holidays are also required.
