Job Summary

As a CT Technologist at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging team. Under the direction of the manager and in-charge technologist, you will perform a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify patients and procedures, communicating effectively with nursing and physician staff.
  • Position patients accurately for all CT procedures, ensuring optimal visibility and anatomy demonstration.
  • Perform procedures correctly using established protocols and reference materials.
  • Acquire requisitions, check for appropriate clinical information, and charge procedures, supplies, and surgical codes when exams are completed.
  • Operate the PACS system appropriately, verifying studies before sending to archive, and reporting equipment problems to supervisors and in-charge technologists.
  • Communicate with radiologists to determine appropriate protocols for each exam, utilizing correct scans as directed.
  • Maintain competency in working in the CT department, performing point-of-care testing, and adhering to Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • ARRT Registered and registered in CT.
  • CPR certified.
  • Excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills, and knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier).
Work Environment

Greenville Memorial Med Campus, 1008 Greenville Memorial Hospital, CT Scan Department.
