Plumbing and Mechanical Estimator

Nash Plumbing and Mechanical LLC, an employee-owned company with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a skilled plumbing and mechanical estimator to join our commercial special projects division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from start to completion using Trimble Estimation software.
• Obtain bid documents for potential projects and contact vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
• Attend walk-throughs and site inspections to gather information and make notes.
• Take into account all materials, equipment, labor, tools, and resources needed to complete the job.
• Prepare and present bid documentation and maintain an electronic filing system for all estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors.
• Collaborate with project managers throughout the construction process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumbing and mechanical estimator or similar position.
• Knowledge of current Plumbing and Mechanical codes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam Revu, and Estimation Software.
• Ability to prepare estimates with minimum supervision.
• Thoroughness and reliability.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or higher.
• Plumbing and mechanical estimation experience: 3 years minimum.

Language

• English (Required).

A hybrid position is negotiable if the candidate lives more than 60 miles from Belleview.
