We are seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team at Fraser Stryker PC LLO. As a key member of our labor and employment practice group, you will provide expert advice and counsel to public and private employers on a wide range of state and federal labor and employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defend and litigate lawsuits in federal and state courts involving employment-related claims and agency charges or citations.
  • Provide regulatory guidance on labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft and revise legally compliant policies, handbooks, employment contracts, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents.
  • Conduct internal investigations or audits and provide proactive risk management solutions.
  • Advise clients on best practices for compliance with occupational health and safety laws.
  • Devise lawful strategies and policies for employers who prefer to remain union-free.
  • Advise unionized employers on union-related issues, conduct bargaining negotiations, and defend union grievances and arbitrations.
Requirements
  • 10 years of relevant labor and employment experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal law applicable to employers.
  • Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in the state of Nebraska.
  • Client-centric focus on service and responsiveness.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, efficient work product.
  • Effective communication of complex concepts.
  • Autonomy to handle independent work with minimal oversight.
  • Driven to take ownership of cases and seek responsibility.
