Audiology Role Overview

MRG Exams is seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will perform comprehensive medical evaluations, including Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests, to determine Veteran entitlement to disability benefits. The Audiologist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in a computer portal, providing critical medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical assessments for 3-6 Veterans per day, on average
  • Review and analyze medical records uploaded into a computer portal
  • Administer Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the computer portal
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school
  • A current license as an Audiologist
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

This is an in-person position with a schedule of 3 days per week, offering 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes per patient. A salary range of $75,000-$90,000 per year is expected, depending on experience.
