Job Description

MHG Exams seeks a skilled Hearing Specialist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role

The selected candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, including Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests, to determine Veteran entitlement to disability benefits. The Hearing Specialist will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in a computer portal, providing critical medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical assessments for 3-6 Veterans per day, on average
  • Review and analyze medical records uploaded into a computer portal
  • Administer Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the computer portal
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school
  • A current license as an Audiologist
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent in the field of audiology.
