Certified Medicine Aide

Fayette Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Certified Medicine Aide to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering medications, providing personal care, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and state/federal regulations
- Provide personal care and treatment functions for residents, ensuring their needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration, resident care, and other relevant information
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program
- Understanding of medication administration procedures and successful completion of a state-approved training course
- Ability to perform basic math functions and make independent decisions when necessary
