Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job

This role specializes in individual one-on-one training to help foster employee retention, growth, employee development, and career movement within the Credit Union. The Financial Training Specialist will be responsible for training current employees in line with UHFCU's strategic goal. Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing all training manuals for accuracy and consistency in formatting and presentation, creating training manuals as well as conducting training.

Responsibilities
  • Updating existing training manuals.
  • Develop a wide range of training and development programs that meet the Credit Union's needs, including department and position specific needs.
  • Work with department Managers to build training programs for employee growth and development.
  • Maintain the new digital platforms by keeping up to date with records, reports, and training offers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three to four years financial operations experience.
  • Two years training experience.
  • Two years public speaking or group presentation experience.
  • Familiar with a variety of credit union concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions.
