Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Data Developer III to join our team. As a key member of our data solutions team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business value and improve the health of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data-driven solutions to meet business needs, leveraging data analyst tools and techniques.
  • Conduct research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs for claims configuration and implementation.
  • Drive strategy and oversee the development process from an operational perspective.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice, support, and guidance as needed, and serving as a mentor to colleagues.
  • Collaborate with health plans to implement new claims configuration systems.
  • Utilize data analyst techniques to identify trends, make recommendations, and improve processes.
  • Write code for software programs and applications, following best programming practices.
  • Perform complex research and advanced analysis to find/create best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems.
  • Collaborate with peers on development and solution strategy, conducting regular code reviews and pull requests.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
  • One or more of the following skills desired: SQL, Power BI, Claims Configuration experience, Data Analyst experience.
