Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse, RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a designated group of patients.
  • Develop and maintain a written plan of nursing care, including patient education and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Document patient progress and care provided.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
