Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) in our NICU is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to a designated group of patients. You will work collaboratively with the medical staff to provide high-quality patient care and develop a written plan of nursing care that includes patient education and discharge planning.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
- Implement and evaluate the plan of care, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the medical staff to provide high-quality patient care and develop a written plan of nursing care that includes patient education and discharge planning.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
