About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team at Kido International Preschool. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of young children by providing a strong foundation for their lifelong learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Listen: Engage with infants attentively to understand their needs, interests, and developmental progress. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and insights into their child's experiences and growth. Collaborate with colleagues to share observations and strategies for supporting each child's development.
  • Learn: Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and development. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Observe and document each child's developmental milestones and learning experiences, using this information to tailor educational activities.
  • Lead: Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster infants' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported. Serve as a role model for infants, demonstrating positive behavior and effective communication skills. Inspire and guide children to reach their full potential, helping to shape their future success.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field OR CDA
  • At least 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility
  • Strong understanding of infant growth and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent Spanish and English
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
