Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant/LPN/RN to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rooming patients and documenting vital information
  • Scribing information for the dermatologist
  • Providing post-op wound care to patients
  • Drawing blood and suture removal
  • Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
  • Scheduling patient appointments

Assisting the Dermatologist:

  • Surgical photographs
  • Biopsies - punch, DIF and shave
  • Excisions
  • Electrodessication and curettage
  • I&D
  • Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery
  • Phototherapy
  • Injections
  • Koh preps
  • Trichograms
  • Tzank preps
  • Dermabrasion
  • Patch testing
  • Blue light

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Post High School education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
  • Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
  • Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Must possess organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
