Offsite Warehouse Driver

Job Summary

As a key member of the Target team, the Offsite Warehouse Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient transportation and delivery of products to our stores. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Transport, prepare, load, and unload products to and from offsite locations in a safe and efficient manner
* Complete all required paperwork, including Bill of Lading and driver vehicle inspection reports
* Maintain the vehicle to ensure safe operation and follow designated routes established by store director for maximum efficiency
* Pull and backstock product accurately to ensure backroom and location accuracy
* Operate power equipment only if certified and partner with leader if certification is needed
* Safely and efficiently operate vehicle(s) following established routes, while following established routines and policies, including not using any mobile devices while driving
* Understand and leverage appropriate escalation tools to solve process and/or guest issues; notify leader(s) as needed

Requirements

* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Must possess a valid driver's license
* Must possess Class 4 Driver's License (Hawaii only)
* Must possess a medical examiner's certificate
* Must pass required road test (if applicable for your state) conducted by the store
* Understand and follow all traffic signs, directions, and signals
* Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
* Work both independently and with a team
* Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
