THIS JOB STARTS EACH DAY AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: DSD5 Amazon Warehouse- 3250 Business Park Dr. Vista CA 92081.The shift is up to 10hours starting at 10:10am - make sure you map it before applying to ensure the commute is acceptable for you.
Schedule:
- Hours: 10:00 AM- 8:30 PM.
- Minimum 3-6 days a week for Seasonal (1 weekend day required)
- 10-hour shifts available 7 days a week.
$250 Referral bonus (referred must work min. 90 days).
General Responsibilities:
- The driver’s main objective is Safe, Prompt, & Accurate Delivery.
- Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles; follow all DOT laws and Amazon regulations.
- Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
- Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
- Use smartphone devices for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members.
- Receive bonuses for excellent performance and safe driving.
Required:
- Must have held a state driver’s license for at least 2 years.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must know how to use Smartphone. (multiple apps used to perform day-to-day responsibilities)
Preferred:
- Previous delivery experience (i.e., Postmates, DoorDash, Flex, etc.).
- Previous transportation experience (i.e., Uber, Lyft, etc.).
- Bilingual.
