About the Role:
- As a Lead Therapist for Acute Care Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing therapy personnel, assigning work priorities, auditing work quality, orienting and training staff, and implementing corrective actions with minimal supervision.
- You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy or occupational therapy, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Supervise and direct therapy personnel, including assigning work priorities and auditing work quality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the State of Maryland.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care settings, with a strong background in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
- Certification in CPR is required.
