Cumberland County Government seeks a dependable and hardworking individual to maintain its fleet of automobiles by performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as troubleshooting vehicle issues.

This is a 40-hour per week position with a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation is commensurate with experience, with a range of $ /hour.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid State of Maine inspection license class A & E
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience working as an automotive mechanic
  • Certifications essential to perform duties
  • Ability to understand and carry out orders
  • Federal license on air conditioning required or acquired within one year
  • Valid State of Maine driver's license
