Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Sous Chef, the selected candidate will uphold the culinary standards established by our leadership in food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and sanitation.

  • Assist the Sous Chef and kitchen staff in maintaining quality and portion control.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working across various kitchen stations.
  • Foster positive guest relations and effectively address any concerns.
  • Support fellow team members in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare food in accordance with established culinary standards.
  • Ensure proper labeling, rotation, and storage of food items.
  • Aim to minimize waste through efficient production practices.
  • Maintain compliance with health department regulations in all production and storage areas.
  • Promote a positive work environment and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three to four years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Work Environment:

  • The role is primarily situated in the back of house, characterized by a fast-paced atmosphere with significant noise levels. Occasionally, you may be required to navigate through public areas.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and engaging in various kitchen tasks that require dexterity and sensory skills.
