Experimental A&P Mechanic

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay Range: $40-45 AN HOUR (W2 ONLY)

Position Overview:
The role involves the repair, upkeep, and troubleshooting of airframes and engine components. The technician will conduct inspections and modifications on Textron Aviation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough checks on airframes, engines, and associated systems.
  • Install service bulletins and kits on aircraft and engine systems.
  • Utilize various tools including tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and hand tools for system repairs and modifications.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Valid FAA A&P Certification.
  • Proficient in arithmetic, reading blueprints, and understanding jet and piston airframe and engine principles.
  • Ability to secure and maintain an Airport Security Badge.
Experience of 2-3 years in A&P roles is necessary.
