Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications
  • Report inspection results directly to customers via web application
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve inspection issues and ensure quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical inspection techniques

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in the aircraft industry performing product verification and supplier surveillance tasks
  • Strong understanding of complex engineering drawings and specifications
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft commodities and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to pass the Basic Mechanical Test with a score of 80% or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Navigation/programming experience not required, but comfortable working as an independent contractor
