Position Overview

Rome Memorial Hospital is in search of dedicated Emergency Care Technicians to enhance our healthcare team. The Emergency Care Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive safe and high-quality medical attention.

This position involves assisting patients with daily living activities in a compassionate, efficient, and timely manner under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive patient care, including accurate monitoring of vital signs, weights, and fluid intake and output.
  • Assisting patients during meal times and with specific procedures as per established nursing protocols.
  • Responding promptly to patient call lights, anticipating their needs, and maintaining a collaborative approach while offering assistance.
  • Collecting, labeling, and transporting specimens to designated areas as needed.
  • Executing tasks with precision during critical situations, as directed by the Clinical Leader, Nurse Manager, or Director.

Qualifications:
